Some General Tips
- Don't make the Home Page link active on the home page!
- Avoid "click here". . . Use a more descriptive phrase (More about Hamlet)
- Put full contact information on every page
- Don't assume that users will scroll to the bottom of the page unless it's clear there's something there. Only about 10% of users will scroll automatically.
- Put a table of contents at the top to jump to particular parts of the page (plays, for example)
- Make sure you get details from your ISP about who visits the site, how long they stay on the different pages, and where they are from.
- Use "meta-tags" to assist search engines in finding and categorizing your page
- <META NAME="Keywords" content="Web design, theatre, theater, Shakespeare">
