81Great seem'd the cause, and greatly to, did add
The people's love thereto, these crimes rehears'd,
That many gathered to the troops they had
And many more do flock from coasts dispers'd:
But when the king had heard these news so bad,
Th'unlooked-for dangerous toil more nearly pers'd;
