Description
Denton Chikura and Tonderai Munyevu, actors from Zimbabwe, bring us an incredible shortened version of "Hamlet." With the backdrop of the Shona Legacy of Zimbabwe, brought to life with traditional song and dance, they express a completely new view to the real and metaphysical world of acting. They portray Hamlet's battle between this life and the hereafter and his attempt to reconcile both spheres seeing death as a constant.
This is a co-production with Oval Theatre, London, and Watermill Theatre, Newbury.
