Description
"This is both a touching and funny history lesson. Bea von Malchus presents us with a masterpiece with her solo 'Henry VIII.' Most of the time Bea von Malchus sits on a small stool wearing a stunningly versatile dress acting out some of the most important Shakespearian roles with an incredible bravura. You will be stunned by the adaptability with which she changes in seconds from child to cardinal or to Katharina's guard dog. Despite the funnier moments, this persiflage, with its many puns, still manages to emphasize the tragedy of some characters. When Anne Boleyn is about to be beheaded and says her goodbyes to her young daughter, the future Queen Elizabeth I, the room grows eerily silent."
