Description
One of the very earliest transmissions of Shakespeare on television when the industry was still in its infancy. Jessica Tandy and Ralph Richardson were originally approached to play Desdemona and Othello but the substitutes proved to be just about as well known. Total cost of this production was under £300 nevertheless (CHM)
