- print all annotations or textual variants for the completed editions of Shakespeare's works.
See a complete description of the benefits you will receive. In turn, your gift as a Friend of the ISE helps us maintain and improve our resources. You will also be contributing to the development of websites devoted to other Renaissance dramatists that the ISE incubates—the Queen's Men Editions and Digital Renaissance Editions.
A gift of $25 will give you access to the benefits for one year. A one-time gift of $100 or more will give you lifetime access. If you are a resident of Canada, you will receive a tax receipt for a portion of your donation—a $20 receipt for a gift of $25, an $80 receipt for a gift of $100, or 80% of any amount over $100.
Where do the funds go? The digital medium requires many hours of thoughtful research
and content development, computer programming, graphic design, and editing in any
given year to bring a polished and up-to-date resource to our users. It is important
to keep websites current: to use the full capabilities of new media and to provide
effective interfaces for new devices like smartphones and tablets. All this puts extra
pressure on an organization to find the means to adapt the website to match the expectations
of our readers.
The ISE is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping administration costs to
a minimum. Our commitment to the Friends of the ISE is that all funds raised in the
campaign will go to an endowment that will ensure continuing support for the site.
