James Roy Tompkins

JAMES ROY TOMPKINS III, Vancouver, Washington (Festival Scholarship) holds an M.A. in Acting/Direc ting from the University of Wash-i ington where he received the first Arena Scholarship offered to a graduate student. For the Province-town Playhouse in Massachusetts, he appeared as the Judge in Balcony, Lucky in Waiting for Godot and Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream. In Seattle he spent two years at A Contemporary Theatre and the Children's Theatre. He has received a French government scholarship to study at the Lecoq School in Paris next year. This is his first Festival season.
