Robert Brand

ROBERT BRAND, New York City, is returning to the Oregon Shakespearean Festival for his third season and for his second summer as Lighting Designer and Director. He is a member of the United Scenic Artists and has attended Stanford University and the Graduate School of Columbia University in New York. Mr. Brand has done extensive work for industrial shows including the Coca Cola Industrial Show as Stage Manager and Lighting Director and numerous off-Broadway productions. He has had extensive experience designing Opera lighting on the East Coast, principally in Boston and Baltimore. Last season he was Lighting Designer for the Baltimore Opera Production of Madame Butterfly. Mr. Brand is the Resident Lighting Director and Stage Manager for the dance productions of the 92nd Street Y.M.H.A., and has thirty-five off-Broadway shows to his credit.

ROBERT BRAND is an Art major at Stanford University where he has designed the lighting for the Stanford Players' productions of Cyrano de Bergerac, The Cretan Woman, Dangerous Corner and The Golden Ale, as well as serving as Technical Director for the Gaieties. In the David Ross presentation of The Dolls House, he held the position of Stage Manager.
