THE RAPE OF LVCRECE.
1235One iustlie weepes, the other takes in hand
1237Their gentle sex to weepe are often willing,
1239 And thē they drown their eies, or break their harts.
1241And therefore are they form'd as marble will,
1243Is form'd in them by force, by fraud, or skill.
1244Then call them not the Authors of their ill,
1248Laies open all the little wormes that creepe,
1249In men as in a rough-growne groue remaine.
1251Through christall wals ech little mote will peepe,
