Description
Made at the actual castle of Hamlet in Kronborg, Denmark, the film may be thought of as an early example of cinéma vérité. In its style it emulated the realism of the Lumière brothers ("Train Arriving at the Station") rather than the expressionism of Georges Méliès ("A Trip to the Moon")
