Description
It was the goal of Producer/Director Paul Bosner "to record a live play in performance, bridging the disciplines of theatre and television, in a particular fashion and style and in a prescribed period of time and budget." He had planned to produce the entire canon of Shakespeare's plays as staged in repertory at London's St. George's playhouse. For whatever reasons, perhaps the intense competition from the BBC plays, at this date (March 1990), production of the entire series seems to have been either delayed or abandoned
