The scant internal correspondence surrounding this production makes it sound as though the program was not an unqualified success. There were complaints about that bane of live television drama, the dreaded "boom shadow" from the intruding microphones on the sound stage. There were also scheduling difficulties (WAC 5 Oct. 1947)
