An "operatic" production with music especially composed for this production by Julian Slade and James Turner. In the manner of The Beggar's Opera there was an alternation of speech, recitative and song. Examples of the verse set to music include "When women weep" (Luciana), "Music for Aegeon's speech," "Teach me, dear creature" (Ant. . . .S. and Luciana), and "Go get thee from the door" (Dromio).
