Description
A filming of Casimir Delavigne's adaptation of Richard III in the Film d'Art tradition that was designed to put famous actors into famous plays. As Professor Ball's commentary shows, there is an immense amount of doubt surrounding the cast credits for this film. The Weisbaden credits differ markedly from Ball's for the reason that Professor Ball could not verify them to his satisfaction. Moreover the film often has been confused with a 1914 film of the same title
