Description

A spinoff from Othello in which an actor who plays the role of Othello on stage begins to confuse the events in the play with his off-stage life. This interesting exercise in "metatheatricality," or the interplay between reality and illusion, was scripted by Ruth Gordon and Garson Kanin and directed by George Cukor. With those kinds of talents, little wonder that Ronald Colman won the 1947 Academy Award as best actor
