Description
The Weisbaden filmography cites this as "a modern version." The title may seem to remove it far afield from Shakespeare but on second thought, one realizes that this Yiddish adaptation gives yet more evidence of Shakespeare's universality. This is one reason why today he still remains such a powerful cultural symbol
