Description

The fourth in a series of twelve British educational films showing scenes intended "to serve as an introduction to each play's theme or atmosphere" (see also numbers 22, 131, 164, 326, 430, 467, 490, 510, 556, 601 and 619). For description, see 22, above. In this unit, Caesar, despite Calphurnia's misgivings, is flattered by Decius Brutus into going to the forum (2.2); Cassius and Brutus quarrel in the "tent scene" and news comes of Portia's weird death (4.3)
