Description

In British terminology "a schools broadcast," which means that it was made especially for young students with all the perils and virtues thereto attached. The subtitle of "The Gadshill Job" obviously is an attempt by the makers to ingratiate themselves with the young. Still, an opportunity to hear Roger Livesey's unique, husky voice uttering Falstaff's words would be well worth anyone's time. This was presented as a mini-series in seven 30-minute segments, only the first of which is recorded here
