Richard Yarnell

RICHARD YARNELL, Washougal, Washington (Festival Scholarship) is a candidate for his M.F.A. in Acting at the New York University School of the Arts. At Pomona College, where he holds a degree in Writing, he portrayed Mephistopheles in Faus-tus and Proctor in The Crucible. For the San Gabriel Valley Players he played Mesa in Break of Noon and Amos in The Rebels. This is hissecond Festival season. His roles last summer included Cicero in Julius Caesar and Ross in Richard the Second. For STAGE II he played The Rev. Dr. Harper in Arsenic and Old Lace. He also portrayed Signer Chapuys in A Man for All Seasons and Snug in A Midsummer Night's Dream, which continue for the summer season.
