Margaret Vafiadis

MARGARET VAFIADIS, West Columbia, Tex., is, also in her second Festival season, having played Anne Bullen in Henry VIII and Silvia in Two Gentlemen of Verona last summer. While in San Francisco last winter, she directed Medea for the Unicorn Players and took the role of Chorus Leader. At the University of Texas she gained a B.F.A. in Directing and worked in several B. Iden Payne productions, including Chalk Circle and The Trofan Women, playing Hai Tong and the Leader of the Chorus. At Scarritt College she was seen as Sarah in Abraham and Isaac; at Lon Morris College she played Cuthman's Mother.
