William Sharp

WILLIAM SHARP, an Assistant Professor of Drama at the University of California at Riverside, received his M.A. at the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. at Stanford, where he played Falstaff in Henry IV, Part i. While studying in Chicago, he was seen as Cassio in Othello. He has directed and performed at the Repertory Theatre in Madison, Wise. Other appearances as Sir Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, At Ki /(iside, his theatre work is principally in directing. Recently he has staged the Heracles of Euripedes and Gertrude Steins Yes Is For A Very Young Man. Other plays he has directed include Hedda Gabler, The Lady^s Not For Burning, and Candida.
