Marlan L. Shanks

MARLAN L. SHANKS, Ashland, joins the Festival for his first season as Master Carpenter. He was Floorman and did scene construction for KQED-TV and worked in the Business Office of KRON-TV in San Francisco. His acting experience includes the role of Antipholus of Ephesus in The Boys From Syracuse at San Francisco State and a reading tour of Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man. He appeared in The Sentry which was taped for presentation by KPIX-TV in San Francisco. Mr. Shanks is at present a teacher of Speech, English, and Drama at Ashland Senior High School, and is working toward his Master's degree at San Francisco State College.
