Lyman S. Pruitt

LYMAN S. PRUITT of Ashland is a senior student of Elementary Education at Southern Oregon College. A member of the College Choir, he appeared in the Music Departments 1955 production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado. He joins the Festival for his first season on a Music Scholarship.

LYMAN S. PRUITT, Ashland, received his B.S. degree in Elementary Education this June at Southern Oregon College. At the conclusion this fall of his second Festival season, he will begin his teaching career. In addition to performing with the Festival Singers and appearing in several Festival plays, he has also been seen in the S.O.C. presentation of The Mikado, held a comedy lead in My Three Angels, and played Shadow in Winterset. While at S.O.C. he sang with the a capella choir, including several television engagements.
