Hal Poe
HAL POE, Lafayette, Louisiana, Associate Director of Theatre and Associate Professor of Speech at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, makes his first Festival appearance this season. This spring- a group of students from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, directed by Mr. Poe, was one of two American deleg-ations which appeared at the World University Theatre Festival in Nancy, France. A playwrig-ht, as well as a teacher and an actor, his three act drama Gnista was premiered at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1965.
