Gerald Phipps

GERALD R. PHIPPS, Brooklyn, New York, is a graduate student at Brooklyn College where he designed lighting and stage managed various productions. At the college, he holds a graduate assistantship in Lighting with the Pilot Program to Train Theatre Technicians and Artisans. A Drama graduate of San Francisco State, he served as Electrician for Little Me, Master Electrician for Fires and Stage Manager for America Hurrah. For Santa Rosa Junior College he appeared as Alfred in Take Her She's Mine. He served as Techincal Director for the San Francisco Jewish Center's production of You Can't Take It With You. This is his second Festival season as a Stage Manager, a position which he held during spring and summer 1970. For the current summer season, he serves as Stage Manager for Macbeth and Henry the Fourth, Part One.
