William Nye
WILLIAM NYE, Butte, Mont., gained his B.A. degree at Gustavus Adolphus in Minnesota and his M.A. at the University of Montana. He has taught for two years at Reedley College in California. Among many roles he created at Gustavus Adolphus are the title role in Macbeth and Tom in The Glass Menagerie. At the University of Montana he was seen as Thomas Mendip in The Lady's Not For Burning, Roskolnikof in Crime and Punishment, lago in Othello, and Toby in The Medium. This is his first Ashland appearance.

He taught for two years at Reedley College in California, and during the past year has been Instructor in Speech and Drama at Tougaloo College, Miss. At Gustavus Adolphus he played the title role in Macbeth and Tom in The Glass Menagerie. His Montana appearances include Thomas Mendlip in The Lady's Not For Burning, and Roskolnikof in Crime and Punishment. He made his Ash-land debut last year as Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice and Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing.
