Garry Moore

GARRY MOORE, Austin, Texas (Festival Scholarship) holds a B.F.A. in Drama from the University of Texas where he played Peter Stockmann in Enemy of the People which toured to the first American College Theatre Festival. For the Scott Theatre Actor's Repertory Company in Fort Worth, he played the title role in Volpone and Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor. As a member of the resident company of the Mummer's Theatre in Oklahoma City, he played several roles including Sir Francis Ches-ney in Charley's Aunt and eleven characters in Spoon River Anthology. Now in his second year with the Festival, he has played such roles as Cardinal Wolsey in A Man for All Seasons, Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Banquo in Macbeth and John Proctor in The Crucible, which continues for the summer.

Previous Festival roles include: Falstaff in Henry IV, Part II, Proctor in The Crucible, Ajax in Troilus and Cressida, Cardinal Wolsey in A Man for All Seasons, and Worthing in the Festival's production of The Importance of Being Earnest. He has also been a member of the Mummers Theatre in Oklanumd City and the Scott Theatre Actor's Repertory Company in Fort Worth, Texas.
