Marie Melinat

MARIE MELINAT, now spending her second Ashland summer, is Assistant Costumer for the Festival. With a B.A. in Drama from Valparaiso University, Indiana, she is now a graduate student in Drama at Stanford, and this fall will have an assistantship there in Costume. This spring at Stanford she did costume construction for the Music Department's production of The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and the Manticore. A resident of Chicago, she has costumed such productions as The Importance of Being Earnest, Antigone, and Macbeth, As an actress she has performed in The Grass Harp TTand played Lady Macbeth.
