RICHARD LEONARD, Cos Cob, Connecticut, for the 1972 Festival summer season played Thersites in Troilus and Cressida, Moth in Love's Labour's Lost, and Grumio in Taming of the II Shrew. He was graduated from Emerson College and received an M.F.A. from Stanford. For the Marin Shakespeare Festival he was Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing

RICHARD LEONARD. Cos Cob, Connecticut (Festival Scholarship) holds a B.A. degree in Dramatic Arts from Emerson College and an M.F.A. degree in Acting from Stanford University. He played the roles of Andre and Karl in Woyzeck at Emerson and Stanford, respectively. In Maine, he played Og in Finian's Rainbow at the Deertrees Theatre and Jimmy in The Rainmaker at the Coventry Theatre. For the Marin Shakespeare Festival, he portrayed Borachio in Much Ado About Nothing. In Boston at Emerson College, he was seen as the Clown in The Winter's Tale and as Pompey in Measure For Measure. This is his first summer with the Festival acting company.
