Zoe Kamitses

ZOE KAMITSES, Sunnyvale, Calif., graduated from San Jose State College with a B.A. degree in Drama, where she received her early training from Dr. Ruth Harsha McKenzie. With the Festival for her second season, she appeared in 1965 as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth in Much Ado About Nothing, and Paulina in The Winters Tale During this past winter, with the Thompson Theatre, Raleigh, N.C., she played Hedda in Hedda Gabler and Amanda in The Glass Menagerie.

ZOE KAMITSES, Sunnyvale, Calif., joins the Festival for her first season. She received her B.A. in Drama from San Jose State College where she appeared as Mistress Page in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Sarah in J.B. For the San Jose Theatre Guild, she has played Emilia in Othello; and at the Globe Theatre in San Diego, Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing, and Francesca in Measure For Measure.
