Skip Hubbard

SKIP HUBBARD, Ashland, Oregon, returns for his third Festival season and first as Acting Technical Director. Prior to assuming the responsibilities of his current post, he served the Festival as Master Carpenter for two seasons. Mr. Hubbard has studied Theatre Arts at Humboldt State College and Southern Oregon College where he served as Assistant Technical Director for a year. He has also served as Technical Director for Humboldt State College summer drama session. His acting credits include Mr. Price in Eh? and Christian Melrose in Saint's Day at Humboldt State. Following the 1970 summer season, Mr. Hubbard traveled the western states as Director of "Theo's Touring Company," a mobile marionette theatre. During the Winter of 1970, he was responsible for installation of the backstage rigging and counterweight systems in the new Angus Bowmer
