George Gracey

GEORGE GRACEY, Houston Tex., is with the Oregon Shakespearean Festival for his first season as Senior Technician. He is a junior at the University of Texas majoring in Drama with concentration in Technical Theatre. At the University of Texas he designed both the lighting and scenery for foreign language plays in French and Spanish as a Romance Language Department project. He also designed the lighting for a production in Munich, Germany^ , of a 23-nation variety show. At the Point Summer Theatre in Kerrville, Tex., he was Stage Manager, and has also spent two years in theatre work in the Houston area. His experience includes assignment on the first production of Romeo and Juliet for Houston television broadcast.
