Alphonse Gaudet

You may remember Alphonse as the Fool in last summer's production of As You Like It and Alihorson in Measure for Measure. Alphonse is from Saskatoon and has worked for Persphone theatre. La Troupe du Jour and 25th St. Theatre. Alphonse enjoys playing with the Saskatoon Soaps and teaching at L'Ecole Canadienne Francaise.

For Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan last summer, Alphonse played Subtle in The Alchemist and Rosencrantz in Hamlet. Other Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan productions include various roles over the past 12 years. Most recently, Alphonse played Dougie in La Troupe du Jour's production of Le Train Fantome and the Dauphin in Persephone Theatre's production of Joan of Arc. Other Persephone shows include Who Has Seen The Wind, Alice Through. The Looking Glass, Mail Order Bride and Couples. Other theatre credits include the play Art for the New Theater Co-op, where he played Ivan. Film and television credits include Father Fafard in the CBC mini series Big Bear and various radio plays for CBC Radio and a Sasktel commercial. Alphonse teaches at L'Ecole Canadienne Francaise and still appears with the Saskatoon Soaps at the Broadway Theatre. Enjoy the show!
