Larry Davidson

LARRY DAVIDSON, Menio Park, California, earned his B.F.A. at Whitman College and recently received his M.F.A. in Technical Theatre Management from Stanford University. He returns for his sixth Festival season and his third as Master Carpenter. With the Stanford Repertory Theatre, he was Stage Carpenter for Prometheus Bound and The Good Woman of Setzuan, and Set and Lighting Designer for Playboy of the Western World, He most recently served as Technical Director for their production of Cock-A-Doodle-Dandy and was Assistant Designer for Candole Commissioner. He returns to the Stanford Repertory this Fall as Shop Foreman.

LARRY DAVIDSON, Menio Park, Calif., returns for his fifth season with the Festival and his second as Master Carpenter. He received his B.A. in Drama at Whitman College and is presently in the M.F.A. program for Technical Theatre at Stanford where he designed the set and lighting for Playboy of the Western World. With the Stanford Repertory Theatre he was Technical Director for The Beggars Opera, Stage C r i 'enter for Prometheus Bound and the Good Woman of Setzuan, and Lighting Designer for Inadmissible Evidence. In previous seasons with the Festival, Mr. Davidson has appeared as John Talbot in King Henry 77, Part One, Stephano in The Merchant of Venice, and Simple in The Merry Wives of Windsor.

LARRY DAVIDSON, Ashland, Oregon, returns for his seventh Festival season and his first as Technical Director. He earned his B.A. degree in Dramatic Arts at Whitman College, Walla Walla, Washington; and his M.F.A. in Technical Theatre Management from Stanford University, where he was Shop Foreman for the Repertory Theatre this past year. He also served as Technical Director for the Stanford Repertory productions of The Beggar's Opera and Cock-a-Doodle Dandy, During the 1968 Festival, Mr. Davidson was Technical Director for the production of Lock Up Your Daughters and previously had been Master Carpenter for three seasons. His present position includes being design consultant for the remodeling of the Festival's new scene shop. Mr. Davidson will become a member of the full-time resident staff following the 1969 season.
