Elizabeth Cole
ELIZABETH COLE, Palo Alto, California (Festival Scholarship) received her acting training at the Herbert Berghof-Uta Hagen Studio in New York, studied theatre in London for two years, and was a Ph.D. candidate in Theatre at Tufts University, where she earned her M.A. and was an acting instructor. At Tufts, she appeared in such roles as Milla-mant in Way of the World and Mash a in Three Sisters. In Harvard productions, she portrayed Hecuba in Trojan Women and Elmire in Tartuffe. For this Spring's Festival/STAGE II, her casting included the role of Pe-geen Mike in The Playboy of the Western World.

ELIZABETH COLE, Palo Alto, California, begins her second Festival season after having appeared last fall with he Seattle Repertory Theatre whereshe was cast in Macbeth and CaminoReal. A Phi Beta Kappa graduateof Lawrence University, she receivedan M.F.A. from Tufts University. She hasdone doctoral research inLondon, England.
