Fred Chapman
FRED CHAPMAN, Toledo, Ohio, begins his third season at the Festival, this year as Production Stage Manager. He received his B.A. in English from Berea College and his M.P'.A. in Theatre from Tulane University, and is currently completing doctoral dissertation on the history of the Oregon Festival. While instructing at the U.S. Naval Academy, he directed Academy productions and acted as guest director for the Annapolis Community Theatre. Mr. Chapman has acted with the Festival in the roles of Old Gobbo in The Merchant of V emce and Dull in Love's Labour's Lost. He has also been seen as Brack in Hedda Gabler, Joxer in Juno and the Paycock, and Mr. Peachum in The Threepenny Of era. He is Assistant Professor of Theatre and a Director of The University Theatre at the University of Toledo.
