JEFFREY BROOKS, Portland. Oregon (Janet Drynan Scholarship) is a junior at Port! te University, majoring in i-.nynsh. At Washington Park Summer Shakespeare Festival, he portrayed Prospero in The Tempest. For the Portland Shakespeare Company, he has directed Romeo and Juliet and pfayed such roles as Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew, Claudius in Hamlet, Herod in Salome, the Duke of York in Richard II and the Fire-chief in The Bald Soprano. At Portland State University he played Harry Horner in The Country Wife. This is his f rimer season with the Febiiva; acting company

JEFFREY BROOKS, Vancouver, B.C., joins the Festival for his second summer season. For the 1972 summer produc ions he was cast as Baptista in Taming of the Shrew. For the 1973 ^HHi Festival/STAGE II he portrayed Ananias in The Alchemist, Merriman ' in The Importance of Being Earnest along with two roles in Othello and Our Town. He has also performed with the Portland Shakespeare Company, Reed College, and Portland State University.
