KAREN SUE BOETTCHER Burlington, Washington (Tudor Guild Scholarship), returns for her third season with the Festival She has a B.A. in Speech and another m Speech Education from Washing-ton State University, where she has been seen as Jocasta in Oedipus Rex Hedda in Hedda Gabler, and Anna in Anna Christi. Her Festival roles include Lucv in The Beggars Opera Fanny in Maid of the Mill, Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew, and Iras in Antony and Cleopatra. She will join the Special Services in Korea this fall.

Kenneth Rothwell — Added 2008-11-14

KAREN BOETTCHER, Burlington, Wash., joins the Festival for her first season. A graduate of Washing-ton State University, where she earned her B.A. degree in Speech, she has performed as Hedda, in Hedda Gabler, and Maria in Twelfth Night, as well as directed The Taming of the Shrew. For the past two years she has played Princess Karen on KWSC-TV's Enchanted Castle, a children^ show which she wrote.
