Kaz Piesowocki

Kaz taught movement for the Department of Theatre for 26 years, retiring in 1998. He began his career with the Warsaw Ballet in the late 1950s and soon joined the Polish National Circus. From 1961 to 1965, when he defected to the West, he was a member of the famous Polish Mime Company under the direction of Henryk Tomaszewski. Kaz came to Canada in the late 1960s and joined the Department of Theatre in 1972. He is an expert in Acrobatics, Mime, Stage Combat, Mask, and Period Dance.
