UVic Report On Academic Computing Recognition

The Internet Shakespeare Editions follows the official Guidelines for the Recognition of Computing in Humanities Scholarship first approved by the University of Victoria Faculty of Humanities in 1998 and updated in 2009. Since the publication process of online scholarly projects differs significantly from the process of traditional print publications, this report outlines the standards expected of a digital academic project, as well as the evaluation process when considering applicants for appointment, reappointment, tenure, promotion, and salary adjustment.
