Description
The television program announced that this play was to be presented "direct from the Phoenix Theatre" in London's West End. One assumes therefore that it was actually recorded on the stage of the theatre rather than in the studio, which must have been quite a technical feat in those early days. Certainly the cast glitters with well-known names to include Peggy Aschcroft (Viola) and Michael Redgrave (Sir Andrew Aguecheek)
