Description
Award winning musical adaptation of Romeo and Juliet in which the tale of the two lovers in Renaissance Verona has been made over into a tale of feuding street gangs in New York City. The film is now available on videocassette but, according to Scott Simmon of the Library of Congress, the spectacular choreography is considerably diminished on the television screen
