Description
Balcony scene appears in this film. From about 1917 to end of the silent era, there were many films with connections of varying strength to Shakespeare. Some such as this one contained only brief scenes, while others were travesties or burlesques, or simply borrowed only their titles. Since it is impossible to cover this vast subject adequately here, I refer the interested reader to R.H. Ball's book, especially Chapters VII and VIII
