Description
A Phoenix theatre production adapted to television. Surely, however, no troupe of Shakespearean actors ever ran into heavier competition for an audience. That same evening the celebrated Nixon/Kennedy debate was transmitted from 9:30 to 10:30 P.M. Most likely at 9:30 most of the audience deserted Shakespeare in favor of watching this historic confrontation in which Kennedy played an upstart Hal to Nixon's lugubrious Henry Bolingbroke
