¶LOue is too young to know what con
science is,
¶Yet who knowes not con

¶Then gentle cheater vrge not my ami

¶For thou betraying me, I doe betray
¶My nobler part to my gro

¶My

¶Triumph in loue,
_fle

2260But ry
sing at thy name doth point out thee,
¶As his triumphant prize,
_proud of this pride,
¶He is contented thy poore drudge to be
¶To
stand in thy affaires,
_fall by thy
side.
¶_No want of con
science hold it that I call,
2265Her loue,
_for who

¶IN louing thee thou know'

¶But thou art twice for
sworne to me loue
swearing,
¶In act thy bed-vow broake and new faith torne,
2270In vowing new hate after new loue bearing:
¶But why of two othes breach doe I accu

¶When I breake twenty:I am periur'd mo

¶For all my vowes are othes but to mi

¶And all my hone

2275For I haue
sworne deepe othes of thy deepe kindne

¶Othes of thy loue,
_thy truth,
_thy con
stancie,
¶And to inlighten thee gaue eyes to blindne

¶Or made them
swere again
st the thing they
see.
¶_For I haue
sworne thee faire:more periurde eye,
2280To
swere again
st the truth fo foule a lie.
¶CVpid laid by his brand and fell a
sleepe,
¶A maide of
Dyans this aduantage found,
¶And his loue-kindling fire did quickly
steepe
2285In a could vallie-fountaine of that ground:
¶Which borrowd from this holie fire of loue,
¶A datele

still to indure,
¶And grew a
seething bath which yet men proue,
¶Again

2290But at my mi

¶The boy for triall needes would touch my bre

¶I

¶And thether hied a

¶_But found no cure,
_the bath for my helpe lies,
2295_Where
Cupid got new fire;my mi
