Why have a Web site at all?
- Increasing audience (50% of households in Canada have Internet access)
- Dot.coms may have declined, but Web sales are increasing dramatically

- People are getting used to buying tickets and other things online
- For many, the Internet is now the first resource, before the phone or mail
- For the younger audience it is now second nature

- TV watching has declined for the group 6-16, with the Internet filling the gap
- It's an amazing way of putting your organization in the public eye
- It can be a great tool to reward your local supporters

- Create links to local resources
- Make sure that you have links to any businesses that support your theater
- Create reciprocal links from sites that make links to yours
